Seth gave me his great grandmother's wedding ring! The band is inscribed with his great grandparent's wedding date of October 18, 1917. It's so very special!
We had the PERFECT day! We picked strawberries at Pappy's Patch, drank beers at the Black Hammock Fish Camp and shopped for groceries for dinner. Seth gave me The Essential New York Times Cookbook and picked out a recipe to make me for dinner that night. We rushed home, put the groceries away and headed down out for a walk just in time to see the sunset at a park near our house. Just after taking some sunset pictures, I barely noticed that he was down on one knee. He actually had to say, "I'm on one knee..." All I remember is asking, "what are you doing?!" over and over again. I finally screamed, "you're doing it!" Totally took me off guard!
